The first generation campaign of Tiangang No.1 2000m3 BF was designed by MCC Jingcheng and put into operation in February 2004. In line with the attitude of "full life cycle service" for customers, MCC Jingcheng and Tiangang Group jointly created this legendary blast furnace with diligence and wisdom. The service life of the first generation of blast furnace is 17 years and 1 month. The key economic and technical indexes, such as average coal injection ratio, gas utilization rate, comprehensive energy consumption per ton of iron, average utilization coefficient of the first generation of blast furnace service, have maintained the leading level of the same type of blast furnace in China.
Relying on excellent technical strength and high-quality service, MCC Jingcheng is deeply trusted by Tiangang, and undertakes the overhaul project of No.1 BF in the form of EPC general contract. The transformation contents mainly include: ore trough system, main belt feeding system, BF body, hot blast stove system, taphole and tuyere platform, environmental protection and dust removal, gas cleaning, water supply and drainage facilities and three electric facilities. The overhauled blast furnace is equipped with a number of advanced proprietary technology products of MCC Jingcheng, complete heat conduction hearth structure system, pressure equalizing gas recovery, self dusting and material sealing and other long-life and environmental protection technologies, which help to improve the quality and efficiency of Tiangang No.1 blast furnace.
The project department gave full play to the overhaul experience and advantages of MCC Jingcheng blast furnace, overcame the difficulties of cleaning residual iron, many cross working faces, complex and changeable site environment, etc. the construction period only took 52 days from the shutdown of the furnace on March 2 to the delivery of the furnace to the owner for drying on April 22, which was highly appraised and recognized by the owner.
This project is another sincere cooperation between the two sides after the overhaul project of 3200m3 blast furnace in Tiangang. It is believed that MCC Jingcheng will help Tiangang No.1 blast furnace to write new brilliance again with excellent technology, and continue to enable Chinas long life and environmental protection blast furnace to develop with high technology and high quality.
